PK! Beena Peekay B Mast movie

www.lcandbang.wordpress.com Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are a combination which has produced magic in 70mm screens. This time, the charm of Aamir Khan outruns the 70mm space it’s just galactic in proportions.  Anushka’s youthful exuberance was beautifully captured. Her vivacity was detailed with perfection. Not that Aamir has given a once in life performance but living the character was the most amazing part of Aamir’s portrayal. Now this movie like other Vidhu’s and Hirani’s collaboration does make audience sit up from the seats for variety of reasons which ultimately keeps this 150 minutes movie enjoyable. The timing of this movie with lots of rumblings in political and moral space for Indian is important.  Our culture and upbringing has always been to our good, but in process we have become dishonest and disrespectful- maybe we take things for granted more than we can; Kyon hum Independent hai Na……………swaraj toh paa liya How does one tel

Un samayal Araiyil- Thumbs UP

Prakash Raj has done a good work, yes seen it just today 28th September 2014. What has impressed me the most is the ease with which he has slipped into the character and the role also suited his demeanor which he had portrayed in his maximum films over the years- fussy, perfectionist and self centered not really but a man with yearning. The initial credits rolling was touch of class- a typical foodie style true to Kali's tastes................neat....................as movie goes by the link up between Kali and Gowri is realistic. As with wine in an old bottle, its the case with Prakash Raj. Going on to make wonders in movie industry with his talent. The camera work is simply sweet and cute. the locales are superb especially Kalidasan's house. Even though the main story is original Salt'n Pepper adaptation. The movie is good considering i have not seen the Malayalam movie. Credits- www.sify.com Sneha has matured into a good actress and is showing off her

Mundasupatti- a rip roaring treat

Image
www.b4umedia.in www.youtube.com Not often one gets to walk into movie theater expecting the unexpected, that's the case with movie Mundasupatti alas pleasantly , the genre of comedy taken from 70's & 80's theme with mix of innovative storyline and height of creativity brought out in a fine form is simply superb.  In today's hit or Miss culture of movie making, Mundasupatti stands out, Yes Tamil cinema has undergone a change in 21st century with creative and storyline based directors making a kill at box office and cine fans hearts. Hats off to the team Mundasupatti, first half builds the comedy base and second half just explodes.  This style of comedy is a norm now, but being a class apart in a milieu of old time slap stick comedy is a difficult ask, without being stereotyped. The present day comedians or actors have latched on to easier imitation kind of acting of their successful peers, but this movie has broken all kinds of such pain and drag.

Pretty Zinta in Chinta, Alas Indian media weeps!

Ok relax, i understand the gravity of the issue, a male pushing a female around who herself has seen so many ups and downs in her Illustrious career(not sure how illustrious????).............standing up to this pushing by a corporate house Waaris................. This male who was actually trying to misbehave has been a good companion or team co owners for most part of IPL season, say 6 years.................so now they break over and entire media seems to construct pretty soap opera......................... Now why should TimesNow/ NDTV/ or any other channel take time out to cover this incident with such precision to even reconstruct the entire alleged drama? NDTV of late has been taken to task of watching every incident of female harassment in UP with clarion call for justice, same has been happening towards Mamta's WestBengal. Agreed there are instances of male aggression in few particular pockets of India, but why this microscopic view? Has any media house begun t

True this would be a defining moment for elections 2014, What? If people get to vote the candidate they love to see govern(not rule) the country. Why So? Tell me; which 'other' constituency has voted for a candidate with such minority that the candidate has gone to represent the electorate. When i say 'Other' it means possible scenarios- 1.        A candidate chosen to represent his or her constituency by polling maximum number of votes- Say A polled 25 votes, B polled 10 votes, C polled 5 votes. Total votes polled 40 votes.  UHmmmmmm  60 people did not vote. This candidate A represents a constituency and sits in parliament- laughable 2.        A candidate polls 20 votes, B candidate polls 21 votes. B wins. B wins with support of 21% when his rival himself garnered only 20% and remaining have rejected both or not interested in voting. So who deserves to represent the electorate A or B. hey Duffer None! 3.        Other scenarios are scary- al

City slick to Kovanandi

Yes putting everything to rest and also to a STOP, let's confess city men strutting in comfy/bermuda pants and easy drives have very little in common with a hard toiling farmer. Indian farmer how much ever looks spik and span on Tollywood screen is down clean when he soils his loins and gets his ankles hard dried with clayey sand. I had a most humbling of experiences in last 2 days 14th and 15th December 2013.  How can a foolhardy cautious city bred westernized modern thinking bookworm be put into a situation totally out of place sort of for this haughty City farmer....................when he himself gets down to work in his mental frame of mind and get snubbed to core; been cut to pieces by a simple farmers reproach...................................I, in my gum boots got royally stuck into a 2 feet deep clayey water logged field which was being prepared for next land seedling sowing...............I prepared my dress code for the day- gum boots & cap; weather hard
