PK! Beena Peekay B Mast movie

Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are a combination which has produced magic in 70mm screens. This time, the charm of Aamir Khan outruns the 70mm space it’s just galactic in proportions.
Anushka’s
youthful exuberance was beautifully captured. Her vivacity was detailed with
perfection.
Not that Aamir has given a once in life
performance but living the character was the most amazing part of Aamir’s
portrayal.
Now this movie like other Vidhu’s and
Hirani’s collaboration does make audience sit up from the seats for variety of
reasons which ultimately keeps this 150 minutes movie enjoyable.
The timing of
this movie with lots of rumblings in political and moral space for Indian is
important.
Our culture and upbringing has always been to our good, but in
process we have become dishonest and disrespectful- maybe we take things for granted
more than we can; Kyon hum Independent hai Na……………swaraj toh paa liya
How does one
tell that all religions are equal before a human; and god is just ONE in
different forms and shapes and colours. Why do we Fake a God through various
mediums…………………….and what is our ultimate objective in prostrating before GOD?
How an alien in
literal terms gets adapted to the system, hence if system is wrong one’s
thought process about a system is also wrong. A new program is written on an
algorithm, when algorithm is wrong, the output is on same lines.
As I always look
out for one thing is COLOURS; wow how beautifully they have been captured, a
treat to watch.
Human religious
sensibilities shown in good humour is a class act. Thank god in today’s highly
polarized political space, this movie passing through censor seems like
miracle. Good sense has prevailed at CBFC and also Govt. of India.
This movie is
not a masala entertainer but let's take mickey out of our life............; commercial means Anushka and her muse; while the
crux has stuck to its destined path.
The few songs
peppered across the script have done ample support to the plot, especially the opening
poetry hand woven song and also the calling upon GOD to show mercy was moving.
Hinduism being a
widely practiced religion gets the stick for its downsides- actually not
Hinduism but the so called middlemen who stand in between the God and the
Devotee. Not all godmen are bad, but the idea of a godmen is to help people understand GOD in experience in real life......
The plot does
not target any religion and the mindless unscrupulous godmen’s ways are
exposed. The film just says believe in GOD not in his Chamcha- belief is
individual right; but an honest man or woman’s prayer is always answered.
Human sensibilities especially in India are very humorous in nature, 150 minutes is still not enough to capture all. From fat man's tight fit to Policeman's stereotyping of a poor chap to Gandhiji seen only in money.
Some of the scenes are pinch of creative genius.....................
I believe this
movie is a honest attempt to wake up millions of Kumbhkarans, Javed’s, Michael,
Singh, Chand’s, Seth’s, wala’s to
practice his faith in good faith and love and trust humanity.
If our society
had not been that dishonest we would not have seen a pk down here. Humour laced
offering makes this serious subject a enjoyable one.
Aamir Khan does make us seriously look at our lacunae with his gol eye balls peering from the screen, a typical alien act. He does even make us reach out for our hanky once or twice. His emotions for expressing love is still prime, a class act.
