Dada Saheb Phalke award- you must be joking!
Invariably every actor chosen till date asks this question? You must be joking I selected for Phalke award..............its become a Joke........ I belong to South India and this land is as much crazy for movies as Hindi heartlands... so i do not agree to the choices made for Dada Saheb Phalke awards.........yes not all are duds...........my approval goes to K Balachander, Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Pran , A Naggeshwara Rao, many more........... Now my utter disgust at how awards are chosen for less mortal souls............no offence meant to Shashi Kapoor Ji- his looks and charm always won ladies heart but his playboy image onscreen could not have garnered an award as worthy as Phalke, considering its luminous recipients like Dilip Kumar, K Balachander, ANR...........what makes these awards utterly whimsical to the core is the shortsightedness of the jury panel.
