Dada Saheb Phalke award- you must be joking!


Invariably every actor chosen till date asks this question? You must be joking I selected for Phalke award..............its become a Joke........

 I belong to South India and this land is as much crazy for movies as Hindi heartlands... so i do not agree to the choices made for Dada Saheb Phalke awards.........yes not all are duds...........my approval goes to K Balachander, Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Pran , A Naggeshwara Rao, many more...........

 Now my utter disgust at how awards are chosen for less mortal souls............no offence meant to Shashi Kapoor Ji- his looks and charm always won ladies heart but his playboy image onscreen could not have garnered an award as worthy as Phalke, considering its luminous recipients like Dilip Kumar, K Balachander, ANR...........what makes these awards utterly whimsical to the core is the shortsightedness of the jury panel. 

 My aghast exasperation on missing out immensely talented personalities like NT Rama Rao, apart from his political daliance his acting prowess is widely appreciated and is a Silver jubilee hits of his many movies, Puranic movies especially Sri krishna is still a man who has been unchallenged; his handsome features and great dialogue delivery make him an ideal choice for contribution to Telugu Film industry similarly musicians of Tamil Film Industry especially MS Viswanathan for his beautiful collaboration on epic Tamil movies............has gone completely unnoticed, A character artist who towered amongst all in tamil and Telugu film Industry was SV Ranga Rao- his dialogue delivery and soul wrenching character roles still stir our tear buds similar on his strengths were Manorama amma, Banumathi amma for her multitalented strengths and MR Radha for his unique style and roles portrayed........Playback singers like P Suseela, S Janaki were the heart and soul of many beautiful onscreen actresses of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam...........what has made them blind to these illustrious artists..............have they chosen ART direction, Cinematographers, Technicians, Editors, Sound, Dance, Fight, digital effects except for founding fathers in this genre.................i consider these awards a mere cajoling of ageing yesteryear stars to satisfy the ego of the greying jury who happens to be his/ her BIG fan.

There were some Film directors who made Purana movies in Tamil and Telugu, Kannada which dabbled in rich cultural heritage as wholesome entertainers

 There are Directors now in their twilight zones who were considered Trend setters in their Milieu of work Balu Mahendra, Bapu, K vishwanath, Bharathiraaja,

 Kindly show more merit and tap wide pool of talent base to choose from, India is not Hindi alone, its Kannada, Oriya, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi and much more........India needs more of this awardee as this is not to be restricted to few............. This year's National awards for 62nd year is worthy of mention........

Can i please use the loo plzzzzzzzzzzzzz veri urgent.....................how many might muster courage in asking our guests or even places we visit when in need. Most do now. Tryst with Western Ghats- Karnataka Story

Western ghats are the lifeline for Monsoons, bringing rain to water starved plains, feeding many wild forest reserves, agriculture, plantations and rural and urban settlements. This year(2018) we chose Madikeri to spend close to nature and avoid going to coffee plantations and artificially infused wildlife surrounding the plantations. yet we still could not avoid the coffee plantations for want of good private space to spend quality time. we chose a location close to nature and it was located a good distance away from the bustling town hence the need to wait patiently for transport to ferry us to the location. the steep slopes and typical hill houses added charm to the location. the place we were staying was called Kabbinakad. This story is meant to talk through images which we captured throughout our journey. Jil Jung Juk- 3J's to good entertainer

Wow i am at last feeling comfortable watching Siddharth's acting. What do you mean, he's the darling of many lovely damsels, young oozing females of Indian ethos, and envy of many a talented actors-male. Siddharth's stereotype kind of angry frustrated looks of Boyz/ Bommarillu/ to other movies has made me feel move away from this talent hotbed's exploits. The KaviyaThalaivan/ Jigarthanda has pulled me back to sit up and see his metamorphosis. Sure its bit hard on a actor with prodigious talent and out of box thinking in an industry hell bent on formulaic offerings. The carefree attitude to try new things seems to synchronize with the Tamil movie audience too.
