Not often one gets to walk into movie theater expecting the unexpected, that's the case with movie Mundasupatti alas pleasantly, the genre of comedy taken from 70's & 80's theme with mix of innovative storyline and height of creativity brought out in a fine form is simply superb.

In today's hit or Miss culture of movie making, Mundasupatti stands out, Yes Tamil cinema has undergone a change in 21st century with creative and storyline based directors making a kill at box office and cine fans hearts.

Hats off to the team Mundasupatti, first half builds the comedy base and second half just explodes.

This style of comedy is a norm now, but being a class apart in a milieu of old time slap stick comedy is a difficult ask, without being stereotyped.

The present day comedians or actors have latched on to easier imitation kind of acting of their successful peers, but this movie has broken all kinds of such pain and drag.

Most sidekicks have begun to emulate their senior successful peers like Vadivel and Santhanam, which is sad precedent considering an individual's talent being subdued.

Actors were natural at best and done justice to their roles. The plot is cool and easy, one wonders if a director can negotiate under tight space, Ram Kumar. a creative wizard considering the amount of work he has put into the project. One need not be wizard working on expensive sets and top in line Heroes and Heroines.

Music by first timer, Sean Roldan, fresh from his popular tunes for Vaayai Moodi Pesanum, has done a great job. His music compliments a young lover's yearning for his dame. enjoyed the scenes which had the hero looking to catch a gaze of his lady love.

Kali Venkat as a sidekick to Hero has done a superb job cutting out usual flab associated with Hero's big mouthed friend.

Hero Vishnu has proven again that he is game for any genre movie acting, his Neerparavai role as a wayward drunkard is neat similarly this role too makes him being watched for few talented Tamil Heroes to come out of Kollywood.

Anandraj, speaks little but his facial expressions and body language is simply gem of timing.

Let's take time out for this beauty in theatres. Worth the watch. My friend and myself laughed our guts out after a long time. my previous laughing adventure was Kalakalappu which i found vulgar in portrayal of roles. This scores high on a Family entertainer.
