Un samayal Araiyil- Thumbs UP
Prakash Raj has done a good work, yes seen it just today 28th September 2014. What has impressed me the most is the ease with which he has slipped into the character and the role also suited his demeanor which he had portrayed in his maximum films over the years- fussy, perfectionist and self centered not really but a man with yearning.
The initial credits rolling was touch of class- a typical foodie style true to Kali's tastes................neat....................as movie goes by the link up between Kali and Gowri is realistic.
As with wine in an old bottle, its the case with Prakash Raj. Going on to make wonders in movie industry with his talent.
The camera work is simply sweet and cute. the locales are superb especially Kalidasan's house. Even though the main story is original Salt'n Pepper adaptation. The movie is good considering i have not seen the Malayalam movie.
Sneha has matured into a good actress and is showing off her talent in her off beat roles, actually she is a seasoned actress now after her previous GOOD movies. This movie has harvested her smile and soft nature quite beautifully. No undue make up or garish costumes. She has made her style statement very well.
Others have done justice to their roles, though Thambi Ramaiah have been under utilized similarly Elango Kumaravel, Aishwarya and Urvashi.
Yet the script seem to offer just 'That much scope' for above actors and actresses. They were peppered all along the story to give that feeling of a planets around the earth and Moon of the movie.
The music especially the BGM is rocking, Ilayaraja is mellifluous in this movie, even though did not enjoy the song tracks much............................
The new comers have done justice to their roles. comedy has been subtle which could have been made more obvious.
The show stealer is and was the camerawork......................Preetha.......................hats off.
Worth watching with a hot cuppa of coffee on a breezy evening.
