Mysskin's VISHAL

Mysskin lived upto his reputation for his suspense and glorified crime MUST SEE thrillers.

Kaniyan Poongundran a cool volatile Namma Oru Detective............................

the other major plus point which adds shine to his creation is Vishal, true to his talent and sober demeanour he has done a fantastic job as the THUPPARIVAALAN.

the best things about the movie is the suspense factor and ease of the characters essaying roles be it ace director Bagyaraj, Simran (cameo though), John Vijay and Vinay. Music was good not overdone. The plot and Vishal's VISHAL performance has given this movie a big push. Vishal's earlier ventures were more bravado kind of joker movies which are difficult to digest or even imagine bashing villains and flying vehicles in today's world. The plot is intelligent not impossible and next the characterisation of Vishal as an eccentric detective. the stitching of plot is great handiwork which makes the movie pacy and interesting.

The heroine has been kept hanging about like a bee across the flower and hence its subtle impact felt. The Thupparivaalan's house is cool. This movie will be added into Vishal's few good performances a big respite from his usual dishoom bakwaas.

The Devil has played it to perfection with his Portrayal as a Baddie Boss done with elan. For Vinay's limited Tamil and stern looks this movie has made him a winner.

Bagyaraj in a subdued role is a big surprise yet welcome as his usual chatty talk is absent and more on his expressions and his walk was stylish too.

Cameo by John Vijay stands out and also the newbie Anu Emmauel's shot at plot was excellent.

The fight sequences choreographed in a much trained detective's style was executed well by Vishal. no sweat lost Hero did well.

Music by Arrol was appropriate rather than being a drag. Not fantastic but complemented the narration beautifully.

Camera shots especially to capture complex narrations was beautiful which means you definitely missed it if you did not pay heed.

Why has Prasanna been underutilised? Prasanna seems out of plot in this entire scheme of things and given his talent he could have done much better. Next shocked to see the Thupparivaalan's living room resembling Sherlock holmes movie shot and even Prasanna doing side kick not really though; was wondering looking at the living room in opening scenes with clothes and untidied setup if it was Tamil version of sherlock holmes but few minutes into the movie it was just a passing coincidence.

Prasanna playing dumb with just a caretaker attitude and asking silly irrelevant questions to vishal made me feel his sidekick could have been a comedian to add laughter; which is difficult in Mysskin adventure. later i reminisce and see that this prassanna was the original baddie for Mysskin in Anjathey. student repays his master.

The final fight sequence mapped well but a tard ill conceived considering the strength of police force which could have made light of the work.

Enjoyed the movie worth the watch.
