Raj Dharma..........What has gone awry
India can take great pride in its heritage for many reasons which have lost relevance in modern times....................relevance per se from a Human point of view be it his weakness of mind or non application of a Dharma. Never can a Raj Dharma be irrelevant for a administrator from a moral execution point of view. A perspective- a city councillor is starting his day in his ward by a walk. While in his walk he comes across huge pile of un-collected watse from various houses stinking and rotting away; with stray animals shoving and punching things all over the place. Now he gets back to his office looks at the roster of person incharge and gets back to the place with person incharge and gets it cleaned. A job well done. A job even well done when he enquires the reason behind the pile up and cautions or provides a earful to resolve this glitch so that tomorrow citizens are spared the stench. Why this Story?

Jayalalitha has exercised her Raj Dharma perfectly telling a High Court's body to keep the legislation and matters of administration out of its ambit; even if the issue involved was through a concerned PIL asking for why should one shift a place of interest without a logic?. Jayalalitha must understand that one Raj Dharma is to appreciate the goodness in previous Regime's policies rather than witch hunt or even go to extent of nullifying the intention. Agreed that one Raj Dharma which previous regime has mindlessly implemented was to disregard the opposition in tatters in previous assembly. Number might not count but building confidence in a opposition which has been the second or third popular vote share of the electorate. If Jayalalitha has used her common sense let alone Raj Dharma she would have atleast made the amenity more pleasant or accessable to the public which she has cited the reason to shift to Nungambakkam. One should understand that public may not get onto to streets as most have actually given up hope until the previous regime exceeded all the limits of propreity in land of law- resulting in one of highest turnouts in towns and districts; to express their disapproval but the medium they might choose is more powerful which the present Government fails to gauge. I am pained just because she has chosen to harp on a trivial least significant state of affairs when there is a unaccounted and under wraps neo-natal and post operative deaths at Children's Hospital due to lack of Ventilator/ lack of simple & Basic cleanliness/ lack of Doctors or Nurses with Heart (not that all are painted the same way) but who is being made accountable for these deaths from infection/ improper care and above all dereliction of duty. Egmore children's hospital is crying for simple lights on the staircase/ more toilets for visiting patients relatives/ more sergeants for overseeing proper waste disposal and more care for Doctors and Nurses slogging day in and day out. Why has this Jayalalitha Government not pained by this pathetic site of absolute neglect of Government hospitals? Why are you in a hurry to change the good things NOW always remember its not the person who built great monuments who is remembered but the caretaker who comes in for praise. People will judge and of late they are being critical of their elected representatives- you win hearts of the public only when they are taken care of through Good health system/ good transport & public utilities and good law and order. Shed your bloated EGO. Have you ever wondered why few 100's make it to Anna Library because of poor connectivity why not improve the transport.............think astutely in serving public rather than striking at your enemy. Remember the enemy you are persecuting is already a dead snake in eyes of the public verdict in just concluded assembly polls. They have no pride left from their previous atrocities and corruption. You are in better moral high ground to justify your election by serving the people. STOP squandering your favoured adminstrator status to next to BE kicked status. Being a woman you ahve the heart and Mind to apply. The vanquished shall perish as they have accumulated enough sins to last their Karma. Be more rational in solving people's problems.
