Modi Sermons- a gaseous affair
Dear TV viewing nostalgic Indian citizen,
Its a forgone conclusion that our Gujarati Prime Minister Modi is more smitten about a CEO kind of attitude than a leader who could blend effortlessly with its people.
Why this accusation of Gujarati Prime Minister because, Indian Diaspora is not just Gujarati, Its Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and Punjabis....................just singling out done by one particular vocal community does not mean you are a heart throb of the nation. True Gujaratis entrepreneurship and dynamism has added magic across various fields, but nevertheless India encompasses from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Meghalaya.
As a good leader he must have thrown open his charms to all other communities. His Gujarati overbearing is slightly nauseating. What has he done to earn this epitaph, i am least convinced when he goes about with the air that thou is the noblest, his tenure in Gujarat has been very controversial, apart from the normal growth which Gujarat has portrayed. His style of functioning has always been a matter of debate. Now his one year in office and his continuing world conquering tours is of much less significance than staying back at home and building the nation.
I am of the belief that a leader needs to understand the complexities of ruling India considering the whining of this state to that state to issues relating to regional pride and balancing of their sensibilities.
Of so many years None of the Prime Ministers were close to solving this conundrum, Regional balancing. Except for Vajpayee for his pioneering projects and statesmanship. Modi has a great mandate to work with all these people, just by wearing a menfolk headgear and attending their public rallies will not suffice. He should graduate from a Gujarati Vypari attitude to Pan Indian Neta attitude.
What has he done to solve the Cauvery river dispute a sticking point among India's wealthiest states? Has he any kind words for Srilankan- Tamilnadu fishermen dispute? His attention towards continuing farmer suicides? His careless attitude towards India's agrarian crisis and degradation of natural wealth to mindless MNC minings, projects, etc. First world countries thrown away jobs we merrily mint money with dark underbelly of nefarious human and nature degradation in form of Tanneries in Tamilnadu & Uttar Pradesh, Textile units and its accompanying dyeing in Tamilnadu and Parts of UttarPradesh, More and more Thermal power plants, no solution to continuing dumping of urban waste into live rivers, deforestation of lands for urban jungle, Gujarat's agriculture has shrunk rapidly under Modi's Chief Ministership, pulses being imported a miserable state of affairs, tackling everything needs more than a decade, but given his attitude of lecturing world about continuing Global warming and terrorism, has he stepped up the efforts to counter those in his own heartland.
India's pollution policy is as lax as ever, has Modi done enough to tackle this be it stringent implementation of pollution guidelines, renewable source of energy's exploration, or investing in new building or housing technologies, what has he done to take India's moral obligation towards global warming a step closer to definite results?
Talking and talking has shown him in a intellectual's light not a Go-Getter kind of frame of mind. Does he realize India does not own any of the latest innovations or even can call as its own? Does he realize how long it takes to someone from India to file for patent and then struggle to protect his design and next think of bringing that innovation to light or even production stage without bribing or licking the feet of bureaucrats............a genuine business man like me cannot lay hands on a startup capital of Rs. 15 lakhs to expand my business without greasing a dumb bank manager's palm, you talk of calling investors from US, Sharam karo.
I know nothing has changed since Most Corrupt UPA regime which engendered nepotism and cronyism, atleast we had hope in YOU a year back which now seems to fade fast.
Clean Ganga project- a simple act of closing the polluting tanneries all across UP, have you done anything about that, discharge of sewerage waste into Ganga, have you done anything about that. Simple things cannot be done but you talk of Global partnerships, G4 summit and much more....................................................STOP talking i am FED UP.
Foolish NRIs may dance to your Baashans, not we out here in India. They are not natural born citizens but Naturalized citizens their enthusiasm is as much as seeing a long lost cousin or uncle in traditional attire and doing a traditional dance. What do they know of the suffering or travails an average Indian goes through from standing in queue for your ration, fighting for water supply, potholed roads which kills pedestrians and also those using them culpable to homicide, opposition which slings mud and most dishonest, and still life goes on and we are Proud of our prime Minister. Unlike you who have flown to a Foreign shores just to escape the Grind of India.
Modi Ji, Your true calling comes in India, so stop fooling around in western city squares and start working on GST Bills/ coordinating with States to see a Stronger India, STOP prancing around with right wing elements in banning Beef, killing rational thinkers(inner voice of India), airing absurd views on what to wear, eat and drink, STOP IT. You are not running a Hindu Rasthra, you are governing Hindustan, an amalgamation of precious gems of different qualities. Kindly aspire to have a rich heritage country ruled by Muslim Kings like Akbar, Tipu Sultan, Christian Samaritans, Muslim Fakirs, Buddhist giants, Hindu Kings, Hindu Spiritual awakeners and Sikh warriors and Sikh religious lights. Most absurd thing by Head of State is addressing a National issue at an Election rally have you the courage to say to media, which you so much love to flaunt in front of, That this act is intolerable and give a timeline to track down the murderers? NEVER. Why? you do not have the courage and next after all these souls cannot get you FDI.....................more so an inept Home Minister who more sounds like a Pujari trying to invoke heavenly powers to solve surmounting cases...............................
