The same neighbours and strangers who took turns to heap S*** on this person now roll out Red carpets and pen flowery salutations.

So this is the world we live in, Mighty gets a golden handshake while brave gets a bullet and pariah gets the boot.

By now one does get to understand who is now getting the golden handshake and head over heels treatment in affluent lands.

Now a high priest at World's mightiest and tallest temples gets to look other way at his backyards race tensions.

Baltimore is still not on fire but the embers are giving way to bigger wild fires. Race tensions and caste- communal violence- different yardsticks for different nations.

India never had race tensions since Independence as it was more of petty violence on personal greed and possession of things. Lets put it as a fear of insecurity of losing something to someone from other place- isolated incidents. In India North East people very much part of India have been misconstrued many a times more due to ignorance than hatched plans.

India is a potpourri and it takes more than British historian Dalrymple to decode its genome, i would say to westerners hand off for now, we are much deeper than you can even perceive.

Now Baltimore gets to see a law enforcement agency targeting a African American decent person, when rules clearly specify on how one should restrain a potential aggressor in a country like United States of America.

When a country with its pride in its spangled stars gets to treat its very own people with such aggression what makes you question our people's crisis of coexistence. 

Narendra Modi must get on to US Hotline and advice President Obama what it takes for a Nobel Prize winner to contain such untamed anger against so called perceived Black criminals.

USA has a history of systemic elimination of their native Indian population over a period of many centuries and a land which takes pride in being WHITE. You shall always be known as the aggressors who encroached on other people's lands. Its wealth is derived from not its natural resources (already burnt out) but from its commerce with other nations. The Big Brother needs to look into his backyard which is more devastating on its more than 2 centuries of Democracy while India's 69 years is just a quarter a distance it has travelled. 

Asking the world to give India time and space to heal its wounds- be it Indira Gandhi- Sikh Massacre- Modi- Gujarat Riots- State governments- systemic riots across the country on pretext of caste/ religion/ dacoity/ Politician worship etc..............yes they are all black spots but one grows out of these because a repeat is unpardonable to a sensible Indian to bear.

 India shall never see a riot on proportion and scale seen before because this land believes in rule of Law, maturing citizens rights, courage of a common citizen to fight against state excesses. A promise which we all hold together, i still consider my Gujarati friend, Manipuri Friend, Bengali Friend, as all but Indian Citizens. I do not get out to see myself as Half Tamilian and half Telugu but a Full Indian. Yes our diversity so RICH that tamil cultural heritage alone precedes Harappan civilization, so what I am but INDIAN.

The politicians drumming of caste and religion for votes is a temporary phenomenon which would wane as people with aspirations for better India step forward. Give India another 15 years and we shall see a sea change in its political landscape.

We are afterall 69 and yet to become adults. While USA is at its pinnacle of its strength yet stumbles at a small twig called RACE. 

I ask USA to say if they can embrace a Black man with pride and comfort as we embrace a Hindu/ Sikh/ Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhist/ and much more
