Brief points of discussion-
1. New volunteer activation plan by which new volunteers wil be asked to share their experience with a social activity or their interested area of work to maximise their potential.
  • taking time out to explain about various teams by the team heads and also in familiarising with CSS activities
  • Making new volunteers feel at home with customised mailing on various groups and doing a follow up on their interest areas
  • Having done the intro the following feedback is to be shared with all the team heads for better coordination
  • BalaSaraswathy/ Latha shall be the face of CSS during new volunteer interaction
  • Media interaction from now on shall be taken up by individual members closer to media personel and link being forwarded to Sathya Sir, heading the media team at CSS.
  • All media related work should have been completed one week prior to major events

2. Joy of Giving week programs

  • we intend to conduct a silent rally on child Abuse Prevention on 2nd October incoordination with Tulir.
  • the placards and necessary permissions will be looked after by Tulir team
  • CSS will provide for T-shirts to be used at the rally, prices shall be communicated later
  • Chennai Marathon is scheduled for 27th September and we would like to know how many interested volunteers will be participating in the event, this could be the forum for CSS to show before a large audience.

3. CSS Photoshoot

  • CSS is going to conduct a photoshoot for all the volunteers for issuing ID cards and also to create a collage for the members
  • Interested volunteers are requested to contact Sathyamoorthy @ 99401 35423 for details
  • MEDIA- relations must be made more personalised and solid as we require volunteers to be able to identify potential media teams to cover the events, volunteers are requested to forward the details to Sathyamoorthy for better event coverage

4. CSAG- visullay challenged association has scheduled their general body elections for 20th September at Mangadu, Chakra Nagar, Padma Subramanian Bala Matric school from 8 to 4pm

  • requirement for 50 volunteers

5. Children's Day Celebrations

  • CSS will be celebrating its annual Childrens Day event on 15th November, Sunday with a event in commenration of Children's joy and happiness
  • a cultural extravaganza with children's performances
  • venue identification has to be started at the earnest

6. Gramudharan Health camp/Cricket tournament- Vayalur boys team

  • Pradeep and Swaminathan will be heading the cricket tournament with the boys from Vayalur village in the month of September- October with exciting gifts for the children
  • The idea is to identify talented youngsters and give them opportunity to play at a bigger league, i.e. Chennai teams at later stage.
  • The health camp at Vayalur will be taken up according to certain aliments and symptoms as identified by Lata and Dr. Ashwin
  • the team has also identified a SHG head to coordinate bank account opening and other documentation process for the women at the village

7. Disaster Management Group- Training

  • First aid training for CSS members to be taken up with help from Dr. Ashwin and Lata Babu
  • the training module and related planning will be drawn and implemented with time schedule
  • Nandhini has suggested talking to Fire services department in coordinating for fire drills and other safety evacuation procedures.

For his spirited work at Meenambal slum project and also for his untiring commitment to ECG sapling planting and Vscribe sports activity.

Can i please use the loo plzzzzzzzzzzzzz veri urgent.....................how many might muster courage in asking our guests or even places we visit when in need. Most do now. Tryst with Western Ghats- Karnataka Story

Western ghats are the lifeline for Monsoons, bringing rain to water starved plains, feeding many wild forest reserves, agriculture, plantations and rural and urban settlements. This year(2018) we chose Madikeri to spend close to nature and avoid going to coffee plantations and artificially infused wildlife surrounding the plantations. yet we still could not avoid the coffee plantations for want of good private space to spend quality time. we chose a location close to nature and it was located a good distance away from the bustling town hence the need to wait patiently for transport to ferry us to the location. the steep slopes and typical hill houses added charm to the location. the place we were staying was called Kabbinakad. This story is meant to talk through images which we captured throughout our journey. Jil Jung Juk- 3J's to good entertainer

Wow i am at last feeling comfortable watching Siddharth's acting. What do you mean, he's the darling of many lovely damsels, young oozing females of Indian ethos, and envy of many a talented actors-male. Siddharth's stereotype kind of angry frustrated looks of Boyz/ Bommarillu/ to other movies has made me feel move away from this talent hotbed's exploits. The KaviyaThalaivan/ Jigarthanda has pulled me back to sit up and see his metamorphosis. Sure its bit hard on a actor with prodigious talent and out of box thinking in an industry hell bent on formulaic offerings. The carefree attitude to try new things seems to synchronize with the Tamil movie audience too. The title has hit a jackpot and character introduction too is offbeat, but one thing is 3 main characters must have been balanced well Siddharth is all over the movie, other 2 characters get a minor part to play in a plot which could have been more involving with other 2 protagonists.  Problem with s
