Nalanda - Sangeetha has started off her classes for 20 students in Mathematics at Saidapet Government School- Mon/Wed/ Fri- 3.00-4.00pm REQ- volunteers willing to take classes for XI and XII Std students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics contact or mail to sangeetha. Possibility of supporting tutors through reimbursement of expenses contact BC college Hostel students for volunteering 2. ECG- SMS-a-SAPLNG- done for Rainbow Warriors of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan school- a novel initiative of the school students of primary standard with help from their parents and teachers- last 2 weeks saplings have been distributed to school students on sundays/saturdays 3. Tryst with Western Ghats- Karnataka Story

Western ghats are the lifeline for Monsoons, bringing rain to water starved plains, feeding many wild forest reserves, agriculture, plantations and rural and urban settlements. This year(2018) we chose Madikeri to spend close to nature and avoid going to coffee plantations and artificially infused wildlife surrounding the plantations. yet we still could not avoid the coffee plantations for want of good private space to spend quality time. we chose a location close to nature and it was located a good distance away from the bustling town hence the need to wait patiently for transport to ferry us to the location. the steep slopes and typical hill houses added charm to the location. the place we were staying was called Kabbinakad. This story is meant to talk through images which we captured throughout our journey.
